With the World Cup kicking off in Brazil later this week, the BBC Sport website discusses the language of football - with particular focus on Brazil and football terms used in Brazilian Portuguese. As it points out, "a hora da onca beber agua" will soon be here. This literally means "the time that the jaguar drinks water" but is translated as "the moment of truth".Previous | Next
