Shakespeare in Chinese

On 12th September, the BBC website reported that the UK government has donated £1.5 million to cover the costs of translation of the complete works of William Shakespeare for Chinese readers. The project will also see more performances of Shakespeare's plays in China with a tour by the Royal Shakesperare company (RSC) being planned. More Chinese classic plays will also come to the UK as part of the planned co-operation.

"Our customer commented on how brilliant the German translation was - very well written and interpreted. Apparently they have had several problems with translations in the past and are relieved to have found a service as good as this!"
